Spring Break Week

Well over Spring Break i basically worked all week. I work at Abercrombie Kids Store in Willowbrook Mall. I was happy to be working because i was making money, but i wish i could've gone out of town or something. There were alot of people though at the mall, so i was busy most of the time. Also i was looking for my prom dress and seeing which one i would want,because it's almost time for our senior prom, i can't wait. Last of all yesterday i went to Kemah Boardwalk with my family and it was alot of fun. We got on all the rides there and we ate at Joes Crab Shack. Most of all though my favorite thing about Spring Break was catching up on sleep.

Christmas time......

Well it's almost that time of the season that everybody loves and well i do too! There's only a couple more days till Christmas and i'm very excited, because my family is coming from Mexico and were were all going to spend it here in Houston. I really don't know what i want for christmas, because there's nothing in particular that i'm wanting. I just started working at Abercrombie kids store so that i can have money for Christmas, because i have to buy a gift for my mom, her husband, my grandparents and especially my boyfriend since he's already asking me what i want. Well i really do actually want the new I TOUCH!! It's awesome, because it has where you can download music and have wireless internet. But besides that i just want gift cards or money to buy clothes. Well hopefully everybody gets what they want and we all have a good Christmas.

Future Plans....

Well my Future plans after High School are to go to college and major in nursing. I'm not really sure of where i want to go yet. I've been thinking of Prarie view ATM, Texas Southern University,or maybe University Of Houston. Whats going to happen for sure though is i'm probably going to end up going to Cyfair Community College and take my basics 1st, because it's alot cheaper and smaller classes. A big variety of Students is not for me. I want to be an in enviorment where i can learn with a small group than a large class. Sometimes I say to myself "is that what i really want to do"?? but If i'm not a Nurse than i want to do something in the medical field for sure. If anybody is in the same situation as me where they know what they want to do, but not really sure what college i'm going to just make sure you fall into one category and make sure at least what kind of major you want to study in. http://www.tsu.edu/pages/1.asp

BCIS

Well i decided to take BCIS, because i needed the credit. I think it's very interesting and it helps you to learn more about the latest technology. I'm glad i'm learning about computers because that way i learn something. I really am not fasinated about technology, but i think later in the future the world is only going to use that...so i really need to mkae sure i'm prepared for it. :)

The Experience of Hurricane IKE

Well we were gone for about 10 days from school....

Lets just say it felt like the longest week ever due to so much damage in the entire city.
Thank god that my family is ok and nothing reallly happened to us. I live on highway 6, near 290 and pretty much all that happened was tree damage, some fences fell, and lots of street lights not working. I have to say it was pretty scary, because we put wood on our windows at my house but only on the second floor and i woke up at 3:00 in the morning on saturday and all i could hear was wind and trees scratching the roof top. It sounded like a mini tornado. Our lights did go out for about two days but then they came back on monday. I am very thankful to be ok, because i think alot of us Houstonians weren't expecting the storm to be that bad.
Whenever the lights did come back, the first thing i wanted to see was how Glaveston looked and how bad it really was. My eyes were just amazed by how much damage it had done to the island. It was devestating to see the neighborhoods and how everything that use to be there was now gone. I was pretty much home the whole time, because my mom didn't want me to go out since everthing was still shut down in our area. We were a full house though, because we had family stay with us and my boyfriend stayed as well. I'm just happy to come back to school, because that way i have something to do and the day goes by faster. Well i wish good luck to the rest of the residents in Galveston and i hope everthing can get back to normal.

Interveiw Questions Well my all time favorite food would have to be Mexican food, because thats where my family's from and i love it. My favorite Mexican dish would be enchiladas. My favorite T.V. show is The Simpsons, Family guy, America's Next Top Model and many more on the channel MTV. My favorite subject in school is English and Science, because I love to write even though I don't like to read. I also chose Science because it's interesting and exciting. My strengths are that I can be patient,calm outgoing and very easy to get along with, but most of all very responsible. My weaknesses would be that sometimes i don't like to be very socialable to speaking in class, but mainly that's my only weakness. I usually always study for tests, because they are one of the most important grades for class and i want to make sure i get a good grade. I usually study by myself in my room and take time to go over my notes. I would like to learn how to really know all the many ways to use a computer, because i want to learn to how to use the different tools and programs. Well I think we should divide our work, by someone getting part of the assignment and the other another part so that we can equally have the work. I would make a great team member, because i'm very responsible, patient and very outgoing.

Back To School :)

Well we've been at school for like about three weeks now...and i'm very excited to be a senior because it's my last year here at Spring Woods High. I love this school and well i'v had many expierences as well. Well currently i'm taking alot of electives this year. The only classes i have to worry about this year are english4,and economics and govenment. I have pretty much taken all the required classes. Well I hope to have a good year and finish off good!
